Set Up Access on Windows 2000
Go to My Computer and then
Control Panel . From here,
double click on Network and Dial-up Connections
to display this window:

1) Double click on Make New Connection
to bring up the connection wizard and click Next .
2) Select "Dial-up to the Internet" (the second option) and
click Next .
3) Select "I want to set up my Internet connection manually"
(the thrid option) and click Next .
4) Choose "I connect through a phone line and a modem" (the
top option) and click Next .
5) You will now be asked to enter the connection phone number (Modems:
0845 660 2455; ISDN : 0845 660 2454). Type in the appropriate number
and then click Advanced to
display this window:

6) Ensure your screen looks like the above, with "PPP" and
"None" selected, before you click the Addresses
tab.

7) Make sure that your screen looks like the above picture.
(If you have to or need to use our DNS addresses then select "Always
use the following" and enter 80.225.253.50 as the Primary DNS and
80.225.254.178 as the Alternate DNS).
Click OK and you will return
to the window showing the connection number you entered in Step 5. Now
you can click Next to continue.
8) You are now prompted to enter your username and password. Enter your
ISP-Q username and password and click Next .
9) Now you must enter a connection name. Type "Connect" and
click Next .
10) You will be asked if you want to set up an email account. Select
"No" and click Next .
11) You will now see the final window called "Completing the Internet
connection wizard". Ensure the box is ticked and click Finish .
Your connection is set up and you will access the internet.
