Setting Up on a Mac OS 9x

There are two items that need to be configured, TCP/IP and Remote Access. From the top left menu, go down to  Control Panels  then  TCP/IP , then  File  and then  Configurations . Highlight the "Default" setting with your mouse and select  Duplicate . Name the set "Connect" and click  OK to close the window.

Now back in the  Configurations  window, click on  Make Active  and the following window will appear. Insert the relevant name server addresses (80.225.253.50 and 80.225.254.178),

then select  PPP  as the Connect Via option. Close the window and select  Save  when prompted. Now go back to the top left menu, down to  Control Panels  as before, then  Remote Access , then  File  and then  Configurations . the "Default" setting with your mouse and select  Duplicate . Name the set "Connect" and click  OK  to close the window.

Back in the  Configurations  window, click on  Make Active  and the following window will appear. Enter the correct username, password and the phone number (Modems: 0845 660 2455; ISDN : 0845 660 2454) and click  Connect .
