Setting Up on a Mac OS8x

There are two items that need to be configured here; TCP/IP and PPP. First, TCP/IP:

In  Control Panels , select  TCP/IP , then  File , then  Configurations .

Highlight "Default" with the mouse (as above) and select  Duplicate . Name the set "Connect" and click  OK . Then click  Make Active  and the following window will appear. Insert the relevant name server addresses as below: 80.225.253.50 and 80.225.254.178

Ensure that the "Connect Via" option is set to  PPP , then close the window and select  Save  when prompted. Now we move on to PPP:

Back to  Control Panels  , then select  PPP , then  File  and then  Configurations .

Once again, highlight "Default" with the mouse (as above) and select  Duplicate . Name the set "Connect" and click  OK . Then click  Make Active  insert the relevant name server addresses (Modems: 0845 660 2455; ISDN : 0845 660 2454).

Click on  Options  and make sure the boxes are identical to the ones below.

Click  OK  to finish.
